Lance Stroll posted a time of 1.20.012 in first practice for the Hungarian Grand Prix; a time that was good enough to place him in 14th ahead of both Force Indias and Saubers.
His team-mate Sergey Sirotkin meanwhile split the Saubers in 19th with a time of 1.20.307.
Both drivers bettered their times in FP2, but it was only good enough for 18th and 20th, straddling the out-of-form and soon to be out of McLaren (if rumours are to be believed!) Stoffel Vandoorne.
